Planet K open today?

The people and corporations behind turning the Old Trading Post into a Planet K store are holding a Press Conference today and rumors have been spreading (including at least one posting on our web sites) that they plan to actually open for business.

Their latest newsletter states: "Yet another new addition to the Planet K family is NOW OPEN, at 12701 W. Hwy 71, specifically the Southwest corner of Hwy 71 and Bee Cave Road, under the awning at the Historic Trading Post Building (our italics) for now, until we finish remodeling. We will be open on Saturday, December 17, from 12 Noon to 10 pm."

What the City's reaction to this move will be remains to be seen.
