Mayor Pro Tem Bill Goodwin, along with Council members Kara King and Mayor Elect Monty Parker have retained separate council and are asking for the law suit against them personally by The Backyard be dismissed.

Citing the fact that the law suit is duplicated with that against the City and that neither they nor the City over reached their powers or did anything outside of the normal approval process, they are asking the court to dismiss the suit. They also claim immunity due to their positions on the Council.
