We were recently told of a rumor that Mike Murphy had stepped down as President of the Bee Cave Economic Development Board.
Planning and Zoning reject both "movie studios"

Bee Cave Planning and Zoning commisioners unanimously rejected the revised plans for The Backyard and The Terraces developments at their September 2nd meeting.

Last week's City Council meeting led to a request that is proving to be contentious. The Council asked that the 2014-15 budget that starts October include an iPad with a wireless subscription for each council member. The costs total just under $8,000.
Lightning strikes Field of Dreams

Three children were hospitalized after being hit by lightning at the Field of Dreams on 71 at around 5 pm on Tuesday August 26th.
