Late January saw the closure of the Texastar Kitchen drive through on 620 as part of the clearing of the way for the new HEB complex there.
Construction starts at Apis in Spicewood

Construction started last week on the new Apis Restaurant and Apiary at the intersection of Highway 71 and Pace Bend Road. Expected to open later this year, Chef Taylor Hall's new place is starting to attract attention.
New Chili's at HCG to open April 7th

Word is reaching us that the new concept Chili's at the front of the Galleria is running ahead of schedule and should open on April 7th. No word yet on when the "old" location near Home Depot on 620 will close down. The illustration is from the restaurant's application for City approval.
Sonesta breaks ground March 6th

The Hill Country Galleria has announced a ground breaking ceremony and celebration for the new Sonesta Bee Cave hotel on the grounds of the Galleria on Thursday, March 6th.
CraigO's format changes

CraigO’s Lakeway has reverted back to its original concept of Fast, Casual Dining. From late last year, they have had counter service, where you walk-in, order, get your own drinks, and they will bring the food out to you. They still will host large parties and gatherings.
