Buster's bites the dust

The lights are out and the "For lease" signs are up at Busters in Lakeway City Center. After moving from their old location inside the VFW and several ownership changes and reshuffles the business finally closed down this month. Whether the opening of Schmidt's in the HCG had anything to do with their demise is pure supposition as Schmidt's continues to receive variable reviews on this site, our FaceBook group and Yelp - where they are averaging 2.5 stars out of 5.

According to one of our BeeCaveBee on Facebook readers, Tadashi had its soft opening over the weekend in preparation for opening fully tomorrow, Monday the 11th.
Waterloo shuttered, Fuddruckers on the way

This weekend saw the closure of the Waterloo Restaurant and Bar in the Shops at the Galleria and signs are up that a Fuddruckers will take its place. Whether the same management team is behind the brand/franchise shift we are still investigating.

Schmidt's opens on Monday

The much awaited opening of Schmidt's Family BBQ on the corner of 71 and Bee Caves Road in Bee Cave is scheduled to happen on Monday October 28th. You can see their test cooking HERE.
