New Jazz bar

A new restaurant/bar has opened in the old Detours building in North Lakeway at the corner of 620 and Debba. Called "The Syndicate" it is billed as a prohibition era style speakeasy with cocktails and an interesting looking menu. It features live Jazz Thursday through Saturdays.
Grove doing well

The Grove’s second location on RR 620 is open and appears to be doing strong business. The included Lola Savannah Coffee Lounge is open from Mon.–Thu. 6 a.m.–10 p.m., Fri. 6 a.m.–11 p.m., Sat. 7 a.m.–11 p.m. and Sun. 7 a.m.–10 p.m.
The Grove Wine Bar and Kitchen itself is open from Sun.–Thu. 11 a.m.–10 p.m. and Fri.–Sat. 11 a.m.–11 p.m.
The Grove finally open

Westlake based The Grove has finally opened its second location at the old Mizu premises on RR 620. They are open 11 through 10 daily and through 11 on Fri and Sat. More details on menus etc. as we get them.
Champions coming to LT

Champions Gymnastics & Cheer is opening up next week at Lake Travis United Methodist Church This local family owned business has been in the Tarrytown neighborhood of Central Austin for over 17 years.
Bhodi moves, Riviera closes

Last week saw Bhodi Yoga's move from its own premises in the Shop at the Galleria to a location inside Trio Life Fitness in the Uplands Village on Bee Caves Road. One week before on May 24th Riviera Bistro (located inside their building) shut down.
