Backyard cancels Red Dirt Festival - moves to Nutty Brown Cafe

The new Backyard's latest event - the Red Dirt Festival on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend - has been canceled without reason at the last minute. The event has now switched to Nutty Brown Care with doors opening at 3 and the show starting at 4.

City of Bee Cave and Lake Travis Fire and Rescue continue to dispute fire station extension

Local Fire Service plans to station a ladder at the Bee Cave Fire Station close to all the area's taller buildings ran foul of the City's ordinances at a recent City Council meeting. Work continues to find a compromise before the Fire District bond decisions which are imminent.
