The Bee Cave Bee

At the end of their January 28th meeting Travis County had cancelled the Bond to fund the new bridge at the entry to the Homestead in Bee Cave. Bee Cave has now annexed the strip of land involved and will be taking over the costs of building the new bridge - designed to keep the single access road open during floods.

In return the County is funding a link road from Hamilton Pool Road through the Bella Colinas area and connecting to the new Bee Cave Middle School. This Vail Divide extension - as it is known - may be named Cecil Perkins Parkway in honor of the Vity's original Municiap Judge.

Eaxct timing is unclear but 2021 is the likely completion year.
