Three incumbents "walk" on election
Michelle Bliss, Marie Lowman and Kara King are all going to serve another 2 year term each on Bee Cave City Council as the filing deadline passed today with no other candidates filing papers to run in the (now cancelled) May election.
Truck driver airlifted to hospital
On Wednesday the 25th a cement truck overturned at 71 and Serene Hills pinning the driver in the cab. Starflight was called in and the driver was taken to UMC Brackenridge. He is expected to fully recover.
Canyonside OK'd - with changes
Bee Cave City Council approved a modified version of the Ash Creek 66 home development called Canyonside at 71 and Vail Divide.
Masonwood TCEQ fight to start
March 18th sees ths start in a downtown "court" of the contested hearing for the creation of a MUD for the Masonwood development off HPR. The development of at least 700 homes and perhaps up to over 1500 homes is heavily opposed. An agreement with WTCPUA has yet to be signed and Lakeway;s MUD 17 has refuted a proposal to supply water to Masonwood. The details are HERE.
