HPR Development - new name, county approved

The major Masonwood devlopment down Hamilton Pool Road has been renamed Provence and given provisional approval by the County.
The preliminary approval is for 678 homes, an amenity lot, 22 open spaces and two utility lots on a total of 460 acres between Destiny Hills and Belvedere.
The original plan for 900+ acres was stopped by a water pollution argument from the City of Bee Cave. Passing the PUAs pollution control requirements could still stop the project. Concerns have also been raised about water supplies for fire fighting.
The developers are planning two entrances with turn and accelration lanes - and possibly lights - but no other improvoement to HPR. Local groups are already looking to the County and State to address the road issues on HPR.
