City to build second exit for Backyard?
A highly contentious proposal to build a road across the City owned Skaggs tract was raised by Bee Cave Mayor Caroline Murphy at the Council's December 12th Council meeting.
Claiming the idea was to solve traffic issues in the Ladera development, it was immediately seized upon as a potential get out for the beleaguered Backyard devlopment and its inability to get approval without an exit onto 71.
The Council declined to take any action - specifically not to go ahead with a costing and feasability study.
The reaction of Council members was very closely aligned to their voting at the previous meeting.
