Parker to walk into Mayor's seat - UPDATED

As of the close of registration on Friday the 16th, Monty Parker emerged as the sole candidate for Mayor of Bee Cave - with the resignation of incumbent Caroline Murphy.
If no-one else signs up to stand by 5 pm Friday the 16th, he will almost certainly be appointed, as his only opposition will be from any write in candidates. There will still be an election, as there are three candidates standing for the other two seats.
Parker's Council Seat can then be filled by Council appointment for up to one full year.
