Bee Cave to annex Homestead low water crossing?
Bee Cave Mayor Monty Parker has been authorized by the City Council to enter into negotations with Travis County to annex the controversial low water crossing entrance to The Homestead neighborhood at Great Divide Drive.
The County has already allocated up to $5MM to build a bridge over the crossing, which floods 1-2 per year and cuts off the neighborhood completely. Residents are divided on whether they want such a bridge built.

The City plans to find an alternative entry/exit and for the County to delay any vote.
