Break in team escape stopped
From a BCPD release: Thursday morning at 12:15 a.m. Bee Cave Police responded to an alarm call in the Hill Country Galleria and found the front glass door of a retail business shattered in an apparent burglary.
A witness described a vehicle and three black males observed exiting the store. Lakeway Police officers observed the vehicle on RR 620 and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle fled attempting to elude Lakeway and Bee Cave units and as they approached RR 2222 and 620 Travis County Sheriff’s Deputy deployed spikes to flatten the tires on the fleeing vehicle.
The vehicle came to a stop and officers arrested three occupants in the vehicle. All three adult males were from the Dallas area. Police recovered a safe stolen from the business.
Lakeway Police Department officers and the Travis County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
