SUMMER READING PROGRAM FINALE
On Friday, August 2nd at 2pm, Circus Chickendog comes to the library! It is billed as the “Family-Friendly Circus That is Making Austin Weirder.” The Lions Club will also provide free eye exams, plus we’ll distribute reading program prizes and certificates, make crafts, and enjoy refreshments.
SUMMER READING DISCUSSION GROUPS
LTHS students can get ready for school by attending discussion groups at the library! We will talk about the books, discuss annotations, practice class discussions, and get advice from former students.

GETTING FISCALLY FIT
Does it seem that no matter what you do, you just can’t seem to “get it together” financially? Learn about the habits and behaviors that could be blocking you from your goals on Thursday, August 15th at 2pm. The seminar will cover the basic principles of cash management, the roadblocks to financial success, accumulating wealth, the importance of having a financial blueprint, and how to locate and maximize discretionary income. Presented by Steven Conte, President of the Austin Chapter of the Society for Financial Awareness.
