New Police Chief named
Bee Cave has chosen it's new Police Chief, Gary Miller, to succeed outgoing head Rusty Pancoast.
Chief Gary Miller led the City of Boerne, Texas Police Department for 22 years. He then joined the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department as Chief Deputy. Chief Miller started his law enforcement career in 1976 in McAllen, Texas; became a Captain there before joining the University of Texas Police Department in Austin. He holds a Master’s Degree in Justice Administration and received a BS in Law Enforcement from Southwest Texas State. He was the Director of the Texas Police Chief’s Association, Region 7 for nine years as well as the President of the Alamo Area Police Chief’s Association in 2012.
