WTCPUA pump problems?
Widespread water issues face local residents on the morning of Wednesday July 29th. Parts of Rocky Creek are without water, Belvedere and Rough Hollow are both reporting low pressure.
WTCPUA is now (9am) telling residents the problem has been fixed. For those affected at higher elevations it may be the early afternoon until everyone has water back at full pressure...the tanks need to refill.

NOTICE TO WTCPUA WATER CUSTOMERS LOCATED
ALONG HAMILTON POOL ROAD AND WEST HIGHWAY 71
Due to a water pumping issue, some PUA water customers located along both sides of Hamilton Pool Road and west along Highway 71 West of its intersection with Hamilton Pool Road experienced low water pressure/water outage during the morning hours of July 29, 2015. To address this issue, the USWUG is following TCEQ protocols for low water pressure/water outage events, as summarized below:
1. Conducting extensive water system flushing activities within the impacted area.
2. Obtaining bacteriological samples for laboratory testing.
3. If any sample indicates a presence of bacteria, then flushing will continue and a Boil Water Notice will be issued for the impacted area.
However, PUA customers located within the impacted area may boil drinking water/cooking water, as a precautionary measure, before use.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, please call USWUG Customer Service Office at 512/263-0125.
