The Bee Cave Bee

The Lake Travis Flight is this Saturday at Mansfield Dam Park. The balloons plan to launch at 6:45 AM (weather permitting). Spectators are welcome. Parking on the south side (right) of the old Mansfield Dam road is free.

There is an entrance fee on the north side (left). This is an informal event so go with the flow. Please leave room on the grass area for the balloons to layout, they take up a lot of room. After the flight, the crews will return to the park for a tail-gate party and you are welcome to stick around and visit with the balloonists. By the way, most of the pilots already have passengers for the flight. Please keep the drones a safe distance from the envelopes. Don't forget your camera, hat, sun screen and lots of water.
