Cool Arts March 9th
More than 20 artists will participate in the annual Cool Arts Party and Studio Tour in Lakeway in March.
Election canceled, council members confirmed
At this week's City Council meeting the expected motion was approved unanimously to cancel the May election and accept the three candidates as members of council. Kara King and Andrew Clark were the incumbents and new member Andrea Willott was welcomed to the council.

LTLov grant
LTlov is currently accepting applications from registered 501c3 charitable organizations for consideration for a 2019 Annual Grant. Grant recipients must serve families residing within the Lake Travis Independent School District boundaries and are welcome to apply for a grant not to exceed $5000 dollars.
May election to be canned
The Bee Cave City council election will be cancelled at the next Council meeting as only 3 people stood for the 3 vacant seats.
Incumbents Kara King and Andrew Clark will be joined by Andrea Willott - currently Mayor Pro Tem Bill Goodwin's nominated member on the City P&Z commission.

Bee Cave arrest explained
Last week's arrest in Bee Cave was that of Gilberto Alvarez, wanted in connection with a shooting in Round Rock. Alvarez fled his work in Lakeway and was aprehended near Falconhead after an operation involving Bee cave and Lakeway PDs as well as an Austin PD helicopter.
