Two LTHS Grads score top in national business tests
Travis Henry and Alexandra Bello, graduates of the Lake Travis High School Class of 2013, scored among the top business students in America on rigorous exams in conjunction with High School of BusinessTM, a national accelerated business administration program.
Travis and Alexandra—both of whom currently attend Texas A&M University—scored in the top three in the nation on the Principles of Finance exam. Students participating in High School of BusinessTM complete real, hands‐on business projects through a series of rigorous courses. The program also includes observational internships, opportunities to earn college credit, and local oversight via a steering team of college faculty, business professionals, and school personnel.
Approximately 4,000 students from across the nation participated in the program during the 2012‐13 school year.
High School of BusinessTM is a program of MBAResearch, a non‐profit organization specializing in educational research and the development of business and marketing curriculum for high schools and colleges.
