Parks committee formation thwarted

Efforts spearheaded by Homestead resident Steve Albert to for a Parks and Trails Committee for Bee cave were rejected by City Council in a close vote.
The motion did not carry, the vote being 3 for - Bliss, King and Matzen and 3 against - Murphy, Lowman, Goodwin.
Bill Goodwin claimed he could do the work of the Committee himself and that it was a pointless move.
