LRMC lets LTHS students try robot surgery
Health Sciences and Robotics Students To Try da Vinci Robotic Surgery System
WHAT: Students interested in medicine and/or surgery will have the unique opportunity to actual see and try one of the state of the art robotic surgery systems on the market today – the da Vinci surgical system. Lake Travis High School students will receive a demo and try their hand at robotic surgery. Dr. Hawthorne, chief of surgery at Lakeway Regional Medical Center will share his experiences using the robotic surgical system.
