Cavs lose in semi
LTHS Cavs run for the State 5A championship came to an abrupt end today as they lost to Cedar Hill 19-10.
Cavs to semis
The LTHS Cavs beat A&M by 21 to 7 in a chilly game yesterday - Dec 7th. They advance to the semis which will be played in Baylor next Saturday the 14th. Bad weather delayed the other quarter final match until Monday when they will know their opponents - either Denton Ryan or Cedar Hill. Nixon rushed for over 500 yards whereas the entire A&M team's rushing distance was kept under 150 yards and was actually negative at half time.
Cavs in final 8
By defeating Dallas Jesuit 55-30 yesterday (Sat Nov 30) in Waco, the Cavaliers (11-1) advance to the state quarterfinals. The Cavs are now matched against A&M Consolidated in next Saturday's game at Temple’s Wildcat Stadium at 2 p.m. This is their first quarter final placement as a Class 5A program.
