The Austin and Bee Cave communities are invited to celebrate America’s freedom at Hill Country Galleria’s annual Independence Day Celebration. The event includes backyard games for the whole family, live music by local bands Edison Chair and Vallejo, face painting and more for the kids, an all-day sidewalk sale presented by Hill Country Galleria retailers, along with the “best fireworks show in Central Texas” to end the evening. Guests are encouraged to dine in or order from the Galleria’s 20+ restaurant and food options and bring chairs and blankets to enjoy live music beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the Central Plaza lawn. Kids can also cool off and enjoy the splash pad, adjacent to the Central Plaza lawn.
New this year, Hill Country Galleria is starting the festivities early at 4 p.m. with backyard games hosted by Camp Gladiator, including three-legged race, potato sack race, obstacle course, tug of war, and more, offering fun for the whole family. Admission and parking for the event are free.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
- 4 PM to 6 PM Galleria Games hosted by Camp Gladiator begins on Central Plaza lawn
- 6 PM to 7 PM Live music performance by Edison Chair
- 7:30 PM to 9:15 PM Live music performance by Vallejo
- 9:15 PM Fireworks
