Wild Kitchen + Bar will grand open on September 29, 2018. The all day event will feature live acoustic music (10 am – 9 pm), a makers market (10 am – 5 pm), pop-up beer garden with Austin breweries and tastings from Texas distilleries (2 – 9 pm), and family friendly activities such as a playscape, face painting, and a full 18 – hole miniature golf course.

Colby and Lindsey Crelia purchased the building, formerly known as Hill Country Golf & Guitar in March of 2018 and created a space that is both modern and cozy. “I wanted a place to come relax, enjoy phenomenal food and drink – a restaurant that was both nice enough to go out on a date and that it was acceptable for my child to be a kid,” co- owner Lindsey said.

Executive Chef Steve Nelson masterfully creates locally sourced, wild game specials; from a Texas Wagyu Beef Tartare to a Kumquat Glazed Cornish Game Hen, as well as Fried Duck Leg Confit and many others. You can also try a delicious hand-crafted infusion cocktail such as a Rowdy Melon Mule or Tequila Mockingbird, featuring the in- house Strawberry Jalapeño Tequila infusion. The craft bar also offers a selection of local craft beers on tap as well as a curated wine list.

“Wild Kitchen + Bar is the intersection of the modern and the natural.” Colby stated. “While our focus is on providing delicious food and excellent service, we want to be gathering place, fostering connection, community and creativity. Our vision is to utilize the outdoor and indoor spaces to feature local artists, musicians, and makers.” Colby stated.

Nestled behind Wild Kitchen + Bar in the lush Hill Country, the 18-hole miniature golf course weaves around the property and features a roaring waterfall. Whether it’s an after dinner family outing or a date night, miniature golf at Wild Kitchen + Bar provides outdoor, family friendly entertainment for all ages. Furthermore, Wild has a natural elements playscape, featuring a sandbox, built-in hill slide, small climbing wall, tunnel, balance beam, and stepping stumps perfect for all ages to play while the adults relax on our patio and enjoy dinner and a hand-crafted cocktail.
