Amy's Ice Cream on the move
Amy's Ice Cream in the Galleria is moving close to the Cinemark movie theater in the next few weeks. Their premises will be taken over by a new pastry concept called FoliePop's.
In the short term Amy's will be operating out of a food truck parked in front of the Central Plaza until their new location is up and running.
Exact dates are not currently available.
"FoliePop's, will be opening at Hill Country Galleria spring 2020. The concept, intended to offer the very best of French patisserie but with a customizable twist, will debut innovative, never-before-seen pastries and signature recipes.
Guests are invited to “be their own chef” and choose from various options -- all handmade from the freshest ingredients -- for the three different components that make up FoliePop’s: FolieBases, hollow cup-shaped vessels made of a pastry-like crepe, croissant, or brownie; FolieCreams for the filling; and the Pop’s, chocolate spheres filled with homemade coulis that are meant to be cracked before enjoying the pastry— the final element that gives the FoliePop’s an interactive and flavorful finish. With eight different options for each of the components, FoliePop’s will offer guests 512 sweet combinations."
