Bee Cave area real estate circles are buzzing with a strong rumor that Classic BMW of Plano have signed a contract for land on 71.

The rumor suggests that the land is in the Bee Cave "ETJ strip" that contains the much debated Covert lot, Nitro Swim and the new Golf and Guitar complex. It was rumored but has been strongly suggested that Covert have NOT resold their lot and pulled out of the plan to build there.

Councilwoman Kara King confirmed on her Facebook page that " I was contacted by their broker a couple of weeks ago and they asked me to meet with them. To my understanding, They are wanting to build on lots 5,6 &7 of the Summit 56 property. I do not know the status of the land purchase. I had to turn them down as I am not allowed to meet with them. Rocky Navarro, who owns the lot near Golf and Guitar is rumored to be the seller and we have reached out to him for comment.

Classic BMW have so far declined to comment but their senior management is currently overseas - we expect to hear from them next week.
