The country’s newest sports facility is breaking ground for all to see. The official event will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Dignitaries and officials will celebrate with owner, MLB All Star and MVP, Jeff Kent, along with HCI business partners, Jeff Spillar, Josh McKay and Chris Lupton. The event will begin at 9:30am, with local community partners providing a light breakfast. Swag bags and sports prize giveaways, will be handed out during the first hour.
Special guest speakers for the event include HCI Owner, Jeff Kent, Eric Sullivan with Sports Facility Advisory Group, Bee Cave Police Chief, Greg Miller and Lake Travis Fire and Rescue Chief, Bobby Abbott.
Hill Country Indoor Sports and Rec will be located in the beautiful hill country town of Bee Cave, TX with an opening date scheduled for September 2016. Tournament planners credit the world-class facility’s stunning views and proximity to the shopping, dining and attractions of the Austin area as their reasons for bringing hundreds of tournament teams, rec leagues and the local community to HCI. Youth sports is the fastest growing segment in the travel industry and creates an opportunity to introduce the hill country and surrounding area to new visitors. Owner, Jeff Kent and his HCI business partners have joined together to create Hill Country Indoor to bring a one-of-a-kind sports experience to the community in efforts to benefit from this emerging trend.
Taking the game of sports tournament and training destinations to a higher level, the venue will be nothing but accommodating with much more than just play space and award winning sights. The $15 million dollar indoor complex will house 4 hardwood basketball courts, 8 volleyball courts, and lacrosse & soccer fields. The facility will also feature gymnastics, with a full workout area to include meeting rooms and ample parking. In addition, “HCI” will provide accommodations for camps/clinics, events and birthday parties.
The Sports Facilities Advisory (SFA) and Sports Facilities Management (SFM) are engaged to lead in with planning, opening and management of Hill Country Indoor. As the country’s leading resource for youth and amateur sports facilities, the goal for SFA and HCI is to dramatically improve the health and economic vitality of the communities they serve.
Hill Country Indoor Sports & Rec will be located in the heart of the Hill Country at 4317 Skaggs Dr. Bee Cave, TX 78738. For further information, visit www.hillcountryindoor.com or call 512.271-3690
