Backyard 3.0 update

Plans to build a new music venue at 71 and Fall Creek have been given mixed reviews after the Travis County Court approved specific hours and noice limits. The plans involce Tim O'Connor - the man behind both prior Backyard venues.
The Ranch at Fall Creek will have an 1,800 seat indoor venue and a 5,000 seat outdoor amphitheater - and traffic at events and its impact on 71 remain a major local concern. TXDoT has agreed to add a turn lane but neighbors claim that is insufficient.
The Court proposed a cut off time of 11 pm on weekdays and 1 am Friday and Saturday with a maximum 70 db level at any adjacent property. Neighbors remain concerned about late night noise levels and the enforcement of noise limits.
