Three die in Police Chase

620 was completely blocked on the afternoon of Saturday March 14 for several hours. Illinois resident Nicholas Stearns ran a light at 620 and Anderson and started a car chase with a TC Sherriffs car. The chase ended when he hit two cars at Murfin Road.

Election cancellation official

Council apporoved the cancellation of this May's election on March 10th. Marie Lowman, Michelle Bliss and Kara King all stood again for election and were unopposed. The cancellation is estimated to save the City $10,000 according to King's blog HERE.
Wimberley texting ban
|
Another local town has banned texting while driving - Wimberley will begin issuing fines after June 1st. Both Lakeway and Bee Cave City Councils have similar legislation in process.
