Faraday's Kitchen Store in the Shops is hosting three FREE Barista Workshops on Saturday, November 8th as part of their 2nd Annual Jura Coffeefest! Classes will be led by Jessica Gardner, Barista-Trainer for Third Coast Coffee, and will be offered at 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm.

Spicewood concert

Spicewood Arts Society presents a night of rhythm and blues featuring Austin’s Queen of Blues, Pamela Hart, with Nada Stearns and Thomas Hughes on November. 14th. Other groups slated to appear are Beto and the Fairlanes presenting their Christmas show, the versatile Albert and Gage, The Texas Gypsies, and a fabulous group of world –renown artists performing a tribute to jazz great Tony Campise.
Dog park delay

After the recent heavy rains, Bee Cave City Council and the EDB have decided to delay opening the new Dog Park until the grass is better established
Art rain barrel bidding

The bidding is now open for the Rainwater Revival’s art barrels – professionally designed and decorated rain collection barrels sure to add a delightful yet purposeful accent to your yard. Funds from the auction support rainwater collection and conservation program grants to Hill Country schools. Bidding is open through 4 p.m. on October 25, the end of this year’s rainwater edu-fest in Dripping Springs, where a computer will be available for last-minute “gotta have it” bids.
