Homestead residents cite road safety concerns
Changes in road markings on Highway 71 to accomodate a second entrance to the Backyard and a potential new entrance to another development has left Homestead residents in fear of accidents.
HCI delayed two more weeks
The beleaguered Hill Country Indoor development and it's contentious impervious cover application have been moved back another two weeks at Bee cave City Council. At issue remain the use of Astroturf with its potential run off and the allowance of certain paving systems for the parking lot when calculating impervious cover percentages.
Sales Tax continues to climb
Bee Cave gets over 80% of its income from Sales Tax - HCG, The Shops, HEB, Target and Home Depot all collecting 2.25% for local coffers.
Obama traffic problems on Thursday?
President Obama's fund raiser was incorrectly linked to Spicewood this week by local news outlets. Presidential security did not impact traffic out 71 to Spicewood and the home of Robert Rodriguez's on the Pedernales River in Spicewood, as the event was held at his downtown home instead.
HCI up before council - again
The much talked about Hill Country Indoor facility planned for Bee Cave Parkway is once again before Bee Cave City Council July 8th.
