Backyard blocked by Council vote
Developer Chris Milam's Backyard development had it's Phase i site plan denied by Bee cave City Council this week.
Despite the introduction of a vote to approve the next phase by Mayor Caroline Murphy and support from Tom Matzen, both Bill Goodwin and Monty Parker voted no - causing the motion to fail with both Kara King and Marie Lowman absent.
The issue is the continuing failure of the developer to secure a second entrance/exit direct onto Highway 71.
The development cannot now proceed until the 71 connection issue is solved.
