September is Teacher Appreciation Month at Austin Zoo! We will have a free private educators night September 13 from 5pm - 7pm (advanced registration required and limited seats available) as well as free entrance for Texas teachers all month long!

Come sing Happy Birthday to our Cougar Cubs at Austin Zoo and watch them open their presents from their Zookeepers!

Homeschool Day: Austin Zoo is offering animal encounters and table top hands-on activities! The admission will be only $5.50 per person. The following partners have confirmed that they will be bringing activities - MathHappens, Art Garage, Travis County Audubon, Lone Star School of Music, Travis County Master Gardeners, Austin Wildlife Rehabilitation, Austin Resource Recovery, Texas Memorial Museum, Texas Master Beekeeper, The Natural Gardener, and many more.
