Cities mull 620 plans

Last week TxDOT presented it's preliminary findings to Lakeway City Council and next week they will be doing the same for the City of Bee Cave
There are four major points to the plan:
- A divided median from 71 all the way up to Quinlan Park Road
- Six lanes from 71 to Lakeway Boulevard
- Four lanes from Lakeway Boulevard to Quinlan Park
- A new, raised set of four lanes (for a total of 10) from 2222 to 183
The current plan will take another six months to complete at which time a two year impact study will be undertaken. The total cost estimate is in the $70-75 million range.
