Council Member Kara King has opened discussions with Homestead residents about the low water crossing their entrance, via her FaceBook page.

Reactions on the group page include a fairly even mix of support and non-support votes from residents and some commentary from non residents as to who should pay for any repairs.

Here is the actual wording from Kara's page;

"For Homestead Residents only, would you like the flood zone of Great Divide repaired? There are many mixed opinions out there and I'd love to hear from as many of you as possible to get a general (unscientific) view of your thoughts. (please share with your neighbors so they can submit their opinion.)"
