TexARTS Schedule
The music of Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, those fabulous girl groups of the 50’s and 60’s and an Aaron Sorkin courtroom drama will light up the TexARTS Kam and James Morris Theatre during the 2016 - 2017 Professional Series.
“We are excited to bring this series of engaging and memorable productions to our loyal patrons during our eighth season of professional shows,” said Jarret Mallon, TexARTS executive director.

This musical revue pays homage to America’s all-time coolest crooner by trotting out a few dozen of the more than 1,300 songs Ol' Blue Eyes recorded in his unbelievably prolific career. TexARTS is excited to welcome the director from last summer’s smash hit Ring Of Fire Sarah Gay and musical director John Vander Gheynst (Zilker’s Hairspray). Starring Leslie Hollingsworth (TexARTS’ I'll Be Seeing You), Matt Harris Andersen, Michael Marchese (TexARTS’ A Cool Yule) and Megan Richards Wright (Zach's A Christmas Carol).

A whole lotta shakin’ will be goin’ on when the music of Elvis takes center stage. In this madcap Broadway musical comedy, Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night meets the rock ‘n roll, gospel, and rockabilly hits made famous by The King! Austin newcomer Rachel Pallante leads the cast.

The Marvelous Wonderettes

Take a trip down memory lane to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet The Wonderettes; four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts. The show follows their lives and loves from prom night to their 10-year reunion. Featuring over 20 chart-topping hits of the 50’s and 60’s, including “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” and “It’s My Party,” The Marvelous Wonderettes are sure keep you smiling!

All performances will be held at the intimate Kam and James Morris Theatre at TexARTS’ Erin Doherty Studios, 2300 Lohman's Spur, Suite #160, Lakeway, TX. The lounge opens one hour prior to curtain and offers beer, wine and light snacks. Parking is free.
