County funding design of LTYA field

An update on the funding of the second LTYA field in lakeway along Highway 71 has appeared on Lakeway Mayor Joe Bain's blog.
Travis County Commissioner Daugherty has stated that the County will fund $1.2MM for design but will look to future bonds and to participation from the City of Bee Cave and Lakeway to fund the rest of the planned construction. Previous estimates have ranged from $5-9MM total.
The sitution is getting more complex - now that local developers are buying the "old" Field of Dreams and working on donating it to the City of Bee Cave.
