LPE Principal Retires
Here is Heidi Gugelman's letter of resignation as Principal of Lake Pointe Elementary, released this week:
Dear Lake Pointe Elementary School Parents & Guardians:
May is a special month filled with great year-ending programs as well as opportunities to begin thinking about next year at Lake Pointe Elementary. As we look to the future, I want to let you know that I am completing my 30th year in education, having spent the last 23 years here at the Lake Travis Independent School District. I have been blessed to be at Lake Pointe Elementary for the past 13 years.
I am filled with great emotion and love as I let you know that I will be retiring from LTISD this June. I know this will bring some changes to the campus, but I promise to support the next principal in any way I can. The faculty here is a fundamental part of our success, and they will continue to provide a caring, compassionate and rigorous school experience that defines our school. This school community is the finest in the nation and everyone who walks through these doors knows what caring and capable students we have at Lake Pointe Elementary. I look forward to the new adventures in my life, but I will always hold Lake Pointe Elementary in my heart as my family and as my children.
Thank you for your support and love. The future is bright at Lake Pointe Elementary where Eagles soar!
