Drip radio station moves to HCG
Dripping Spring's KDRP Radio Station is moving to premises in the HCG near Whole Foods. The new facility includes a glass fronted broadcast booth that will allow passers by to watch the DJs work. KDRP does not carry advertising but does accept sponsorship and plays "Americana" style music that can trace its roots to the music of the Mississippi Delta area.

Word has reached us that Travis County this afternoon notified Masonwood West’s Engineer (LJA Engineering) that their Master Development Plan Application is incomplete.
Highway 71 partially closed by crash
At around lunchtime on Thursday December 5th, a four car accident closed both Eastbound lanes and one Westbound on Highway 71 near Nitro. For some time traffic was not allowed to leave Falconhead West's Vail Divide exit and was diverted through Falconhead to 620.

A dark night sky full of big bright stars is important here in the Hill Country, just like clean rivers, scenic vistas and natural landscapes. Little by little, light-by-light, the magical mystery of the big Texas night sky is diminishing. But it’s not too late to reverse this trend. Directing lights downward and turning them off when not needed makes a big difference.
