The new HEB based development on 620 will be known as the Oaks at Lakeway and is moving ahead after ZAPCO recommended that City Council OK the plans;
PUA makes decisions on Masonwood and beyond
(Revised) Slated to be a short meeting, today's WTCPUA (our local water authority) meeting went on for more than four hours. It appeared mostly confused and often divided on how to deal with the water issues related to "Masonwoood West" and future area developments. MW is the 1,600 home development slated for the Hatchett Tract off Hamilton Pool Road.
Travis County Judge Candidate Forum
There are two Democratic candidates vying to fill the Travis County Judge position that Judge Biscoe will be vacating. Sarah Eckhardt and Andy Brown will be facing each other in the March primary. Residents of Bee Cave, Lakeway and the surrounding community are invited to attend a forum that will feature these two candidates. The forum will be held 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM Saturday January 18th at Bee Cave City Hall in the Galleria.
PUA fight brewing
Thursday's WTC PUA Special Meeting (January 9th at 9 am at Bee Cave City Hall) is a short agenda focused on the Masonwood West development and its water supply offer letter - which is up for rescission. There is expected to be a major debate over the letter for the third and potentially final time - followed by a vote. A full quorum of board members is expected. The agenda can be seen HERE.
