PUA fails to rescind Masonwood West water offer
Despite an impassioned presentation from Bee Cave Councilman and PUA Board Member Bill Goodwin, a much anticipated motion to rescind the offer of water supply to the highly contentious Masonwood West development failed to pass with a 2:2 vote.
Water rates to change
Today's WTCPUA meeting considered the new rate structure for all local retails cutomers (Dec 19th). The changes will impact both the fixed charge and variable water use elements.
Local store manager in proposal surprise
The holidays came a little early for Wendy Lamb, store manager of the local Marshalls in Bee Cave. What started as a normal Saturday at work turned into the surprise of her life! Her boyfriend of two years, Ashton Brunner, pulled off an elaborate proposal at the store, as family, co-workers and local shoppers looked on.
Masonwood meeting frustrates
For 90 minutes a packed room engaged with Masonwood West developer Jim Meredith under the chairmanship of County Commissioner Gerald Daugherty. At times the engagement was angry and at no time did simple answers flow from the podium.
Masonwood Meeting tonight
Tonight at Bee Cave City Hall (7 p.m.) Jim Meredith, developer of Masonwood West, faces neighbors and other interested parties as he presents his 1,600 vision for the Hatchett Ranch on Hamilton Pool Road. Objections continue to be strenuous with the City passing a formal motion of objection and the PUA considering rescinding the water offer letter at its meeting on Thursday (the 19th at City hall at 9 a.m.)
