Following recent collective bargaining agreements of 7% increases for all LTFR firefighters guaranteed for three years, the ESD no longer has the money left for multiple capital projects. At risk of delay are the new stations at Serene Hills and on Hamilton Pool Road. The ESD Board is highly divided over the debate.
