Backyard breaks ground without access to 71
The "New" Backyard developers broke ground on June 24th on the Data Center version of the project headed by Chris Milam and team. The original plans for a movie studio complex have been changed but the hotel and music venu remain for the land off Bee Cave Parkway.
The whole project is currently not going to be granted a Certificate of Occupancy however - as Bee Cave City Council insisted that the development could not open without a second access point onto Highway 71 - access to which te developers haave yet to secure.
