Cyclist dies in Bee Cave Road accident

28-year-old Morgan Marold was riding west on Bee Cave Road near Barton Creek Boulevard about 1 p.m. on Tuesday 29th when she got a flat, lost control of her bike, and fell into traffic. A pickup truck towing a trailer swerved to avoid her, but she was hit by the trailer and died from her injuries.
Water supply problem fixed - no contamination

An error in WTC PUA's control system shut down water flow west of Bee Cave at the weekend. Water pressure was impacted at Rough Hollow, Rocky Creek, Sweetwater and Belvedere and a "boil water" notice was issued. Results of the mandated water tests after the incident proved negative and the notice was lifted Monday afternoon.
1600 home development for HPR?

Planning has begun for a development called the Hatchett tract on Hamilton Pool Road opposite Rocky Creek and behind the RV park with around 1600 homes plus some commercial and possible multi-family/senior living accomodations.
