Word has just reached us from Bee Cave City Hall that Covert failed to get their latest submission to the City Engineer in time for tonight's P&Z meeting. Consequently, they will not be up for consideration again until November 5th.

School bus cameras to prevent passing

LTISD has announced a plan to install camera on their buses to record and help prosecute drivers who pass busses when they are stopped and risk hiting schoolkids crossing the roads nearby. Local bus drivers report an increase in dangerous driving near stopped buses.
