Falconhead Trail one step short of completion
The 3/4 mile, $550K trail planned by the City from Falconhead to Bee Cave Central Park has hit a snag.
One of the tracts in the route (north of Ladera on 620) is that owned by Relocke LLC and the owners remain concerned about vagrancy and safety. A compromise involving moving the trail further back on the property is being explored.
Work is still planned to start shortly and completed, with or without the Relocke section, by late summer.

620 widening approved
At this week's meeting of CAMPO a total of $69MM was approved for the widening of 620 from Highway 71 to a point North of Lakeway.
The Cities of Bee Cave and Lakweay have each pledged $5MM towards the project and the rest of the expected $100MM total will come from TxDOT. Consruction is expected to start by 2022.
