Council makes July vacation month
At the August 19th meeting, Bee Cave City Council unanimously voted to suspend all council and P&Z meetings in July 2020 to allow members to take vacation.

Bee Cave child injured by bullet and flame
On Tuesday the 13th August, officers from Bee Cave Police Department responded to a residence within the city limits where a nine-year-old boy held a .223 ammunition round to a lit candle.
Break in team escape stopped
From a BCPD release: Thursday morning at 12:15 a.m. Bee Cave Police responded to an alarm call in the Hill Country Galleria and found the front glass door of a retail business shattered in an apparent burglary.
Watering schedule changed as system struggles

"The West Travis County Public Utility Agency has experienced significant high water demand related to the lack of significant rainfall and the recent high temperatures. The water demands are primarily during the overnight hours and related to landscape irrigation.
