There have been two significant developments in the recusal situation over the Covert development and Council member Kara King, who lives in Falconhead West.
Annexation gets City Council nod
At last night's (Sept 10th) City Council meeting the first annexation under the new Home Rule charter was voted in unanimously. Covering an area of 100+ acres to the West of Bee Cave on both sides of 71 the land is better known as the "Covert" and "Summit 56" tracts.

LTYA asks for $3 million in apartment dispute
The LTYA owns a substantial plot of land on Highway 71 - called the Field of Dreams - which developers are very interested in buying and building on. The challenge is the City of Bee Cave does not want to approve another multi family apartment development, preferring a single family (for sale) project - which is much less proftable on the land involved.
