The BeeCaveBee on Facebook group has been mentioning a man sitting out on the verge of Highway 71 this week - near the Bus Barn, at the entrance to Serene Hills and other locations. Questions are being raised as to whether this is some kind of traffic count and if it's connected to the Covert development.

Sales Tax up 8% for June

Bee Cave Sales Tax for June was up 8% year-on-year to $732,000 against a Texas wide increase of 7%. Sales Tax is over 80% of Bee Cave income. Lakeway dropped 10% in the same time to $273,000. Sales Tax is about 25% of Lakeway income.
